Stefanie Holt was born and raised in Janesville, Wisconsin. She graduated from UWM with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She joined the Peace Corps, serving in Guatemala in the youth development program. It was in the Peace Corps that she realized she wanted to be a business consultant. When she left Guatemala, she began working toward a Masters of Business Administration degree at UW-Whitewater. During this period, Stefanie worked in banks, restaurants, a family-owned manufacturing business, and agriculture.
After receiving her MBA, Stefanie moved to the Fox Valley where she began her career at a large consumer products company. She worked there for 17 years in various roles and functions, continuously learning along the way, finishing her career there in strategy and innovation. She applied her learning at a Financial Services company for three years. She ultimately decided to fulfill her dream of becoming a business consultant sharing her knowledge and experience with nonprofits and small businesses to help them in achieving their goals.
During these past three years of business consulting, Stefanie was also able to give back to the community as an elected member of the Neenah Joint School District Board of Education. With that experience and passion for helping others, she’s embarked on a path to be elected as the Representative to the Assembly for District 55, consisting of Neenah, Fox Crossings, towns of Neenah, Vinland, Clayton, and Wolf River and the surrounding area.
